Thomas Elliott on Menteng 36 Projects

October 10, 2008

Thomas Elliott as an architect of Menteng 36 express his passion about the project:

About the location :
“Menteng was meant to be, in the 30′s, a garden city. And at that time it was also supposed to become a model for the future.”

Menteng 36′s architecture :
“I want to bring something together in terms of a style that recognizes the past, its 1930s art deco feel, that we see all around us (here in Menteng), but also has the same notion of looking into the future.”

The design approach :
“I want to integrate the old and the new. Borrowing images & elements from the past and look to the future as well.

Architect
